About the event

Founded in January 2010 with just a handful of members, Vocal Dimension, an A Cappella Group, are celebrating their 10th anniversary having build up a chorus of 36 singers and won several medals on the UK Barbershop music scene.

To celebrate they will be holding a '10 years of song' concert on March 21, 2020 at St John the Evangelist Church, Redhill.  A great lineup includes Emma Tring, a classically trained soprano who sings with the BBC Singers and an exciting contemporary vocal group called Camden Voices.

Tickets are £10 or £5 for U16s and available from their website www.vocaldimension.co.uk or on the door.

The group have competed twice internationally, once in Baltimore and then again at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas in 2016, both times coming away with a silver medal.

They have appeared on a BBC1 prime time Saturday evening entertainment show called Pitch Battle, with Gareth Malone and have sung at numerous events and locations,  including the very top of the O2, the Gherkin, Birmingham Symphony Hall, The Sage, Newcastle, The Round House, St Johns College, Cambridge, under the Christmas Tree at Trafalgar Square as well as many local charity and private events.

In July this year we are heading to Flanders, Belgium to compete in the World Choir Games.

Vocal Dimension are made up of amateur singers, with an age range from early 20s to early 70s, but with a shared passion for music excellence, performance and friendship. We have a wide ranging repertoire of music, spreading across many genres including show tunes, pop music across the decades, classical and swing as well as traditional barbershop arrangements.  All of our music is sung unaccompanied and in 4 part, close harmony.
