About the event
A performance by Dauphin Consort, a young chamber ensemble dedicated to the music of Henry Purcell. Led by St John’s Director of Music, Clement Hetherington. Performed on period instruments, Dauphin Consort performs a series of magnificent anthems and songs of welcome, written for the church and the court, to give a flavour of the musical life of the monarchy in Restoration England.
