SongmenNo commitment, no pressure — just fun! St John’s Songmen meet to have fun singing. All men are welcome to come whenever they can. For more information . DatesThe Songmen will be performing at The Plough, Church Road, Redhill at a dinner on Saturday 13 November 2010. The event will raise funds for Combat Stress, which supports the mental health of servicemen and women. Rehearsals begin on Thursday 9 September at 8:00pm, in the vestry; just come to the vestry door. If you (or anyone you know) is interested in joining, now is a good time as we will start a new repertoire of pieces, including songs from the eras of WW1 and WW2 and a few other relevant pieces. Dress for the evening will be smart: black open-necked shirt, black trousers and black shoes, with a poppy on the left of the shirt. | |||
